Leh Ladakh, Pangong Lake and Leh Palace Tour Itinerary
Received by our representative and transfer to Hotel. Complete rest for acclimatization and in the evening you can walk around hotel. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Leh.
After breakfast proceed to Indus Zanskar river Sangam, drive along the Indus river visiting, Pathar Sahib Gurdwara and Magnetic Hill (where the cars defy gravity), Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace and Leh Hall of Fame (which has a museum of the Kargil War memorabilia) Overnight stay at the hotel.
After early breakfast drive to Nubra valley via Khardongla Pass (18,380ft) the world’s highest motorable road and gateway to Siachen Glacier, the views from the top of the pass are amazing. Visit Deskit Monastery (118kms) founded by Lama Sherab Zangpo in 1420 A.D. Check in at camp or hotel and in the evening visit Hunder sand dune for camel riding,
Cultural show and other activities. Dinner and overnight at Hotel/Camp in Nubra.
Post Breakfast, day trip to a beautiful village Known as Turtuk village which is around 80Kms from Hunder. Before 1970s, turtuk village was under Pakistan after that it comes under indian government. There you can explore in their village and you can see the unbelievably cute children’s. Lunch at Turtuk and drive back to Hunder at same place and
Overnight stay at Camp / Hotel.
After breakfast, we drive towards Pangong Lake via Shyok and TangTse and Spangmik (Pangong). It’s a short cut and it’s a beautiful route. The road follows the Shyok River, and climbs up a mountain before finally descending into Shayok village. It took us less than an hour to reach Shayok, and we were delighted at the sight of the rather big village surrounded by barren mountains, the entire setting being very picturesque. In the evening visit at shooting point near the Lake. Overnight stay at camp.
After breakfast drive back to Leh enroute visit Thiksay Monastery and Rancho School. In the evening free to explore the local markets of Leh. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Leh.
Early morning transfer to airport to fly back to Delhi.
